I met Paula McGowan in 2018, and after a conversation, I was delighted to donate my services to help provide her with a brand identity for Oliver’s Campaign. We discussed the significance of being people-focused and how the most important message of the campaign was to see the person before the diagnosis of Autism or Learning disabilities. With this in mind, I created a concept for a logo mark that prioritised this message by using Oliver’s McGowan’s initials and drawing inspiration from images of Oliver in a waistcoat and the colours of his hometown football team.

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Autism and Learning Disabilities for all healthcare professionals is now being rolled out across all NHS services. Paula continues to campaign for a better understanding of individuals with Autism.

I was introduced to the International Institute of Organisational Psychological Medicine board members at a conference where I provided them with some media/print design solutions. It was here that a conversation began around developing their logo and branding and updating their website. The IIOPM is an academic research organisation that wanted to reflect its academia within its logo and branding.

Idem Living requested a simple and straightforward website to help people better understand their services when researching the organisation. They wanted to maintain a strong emphasis on care whilst having a clean, streamlined site. Their previous site was complicated for the organisation to update, so I created a robust framework that Idem can contribute to as they develop more content.
